Meet Erica Lawler, MA, LPC:

Erica is a licensed therapist who works with both couples and individuals, drawing on specialized training in the Gottman Method and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients build healthier relationships — with others and with themselves.

In couples work, Erica uses the Gottman Method, a research-based approach that helps partners strengthen their friendship, manage conflict in healthier ways, and create shared meaning in their relationship. Whether couples are working through communication breakdowns, rebuilding trust, or simply wanting to deepen their connection, Erica provides practical, evidence-based tools alongside a warm, nonjudgmental space to do that work.

For individual clients, Erica uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help people identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop more effective ways of coping with anxiety, depression, stress, and other life challenges. This approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, giving clients concrete strategies they can use both in and outside of sessions.

Erica believes that meaningful change happens when people feel genuinely supported and understood. Whether working with a couple navigating a rough patch or an individual working through personal struggles, Erica brings compassion, practical guidance, and a steady belief in each client's ability to grow.
